SSW Running Club Club Challenge 5K

Prepare for an evening of friendly yet fierce competition at the SSW Running Club Club Challenge 5K, set for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Tinley Park, IL. This popular 3.1-mile event invites running clubs from across the Chicagoland area to form three-person teams in high school, open, and masters divisions, with unattached runners also welcome to join the excitement. Hosted by the Homewood Flossmoor Community Running Club, the challenge culminates in crowning division champions based on the aggregate times of the top three finishers from each team.

The race kicks off at 7:00 PM, guiding participants through the picturesque trails of Yankee Woods, with the start and finish conveniently located near 166th & Central Ave. in Tinley Park.
