Runners will navigate a challenging landscape with 95% un-paved trails, encountering slick spots, rocky sections, roots, and even a formidable ascent of 300 stairs. The 50K, a grueling four-loop adventure, starts near the Visitor Center and takes participants through the Bypass Trail, Stone Mountain Loop, Wolf Creek Trail, and a section of the Mountain-to-Sea Trail, accumulating approximately 7,000 feet of elevation gain over the full distance.
