Strider Mile

Get ready to test your speed and precision at the Strider Mile, set for Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hosted by the renowned Tidewater Striders, a club celebrated for its expertly organized events and vibrant running community, this race offers a unique opportunity to challenge yourself on a flat and fast track course. The action unfolds at the Greenbrier Christian Academy track, providing an ideal setting for runners aiming for a personal best. Participants can choose from the competitive 1-mile race, a spirited 1-mile competitive walk, or even join the exciting Distance Medley Relay. Young athletes aren't left out, with a free 400-meter "Tot Trot" for kids aged five and under.
