Summer Night Ride & Market

Prepare for an enchanting evening at the 10th Annual Summer Night Ride & Market, set to illuminate Crown Point, Indiana, on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This esteemed event transcends a typical race, blending the thrill of a twilight bike ride with a vibrant community market, all kicking off from the Lake County Fairgrounds.

Cyclists can embark on a non-timed, family-friendly journey through the charming city streets of Crown Point, with options for a scenic 4-mile route or an extended 12+ mile adventure. The course, utilizing city streets, offers an accessible and engaging experience for all ages and skill levels. Typical conditions for race day in mid-June feature comfortable highs around 81°F and lows near 59°F, accompanied by a low 17% chance of precipitation, ensuring pleasant weather for an evening outdoors.

Beyond the ride, the festivities commence at 5 PM with the Hometown Night Market, a bustling hub of artisan vendors, lively music, delectable food, and craft beverages, continuing until 9 PM. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of a free bike check and personalize their wheels at the bike decorating station. Young riders, aged 12 and under, can showcase their prowess at the engaging Bike Rodeo, where prizes await the most creatively decorated and lighted bikes.
