Sundowner 5K

The USATF-certified course winds through Pilcher Park's dense, green foliage, featuring a dynamic mix of pavement and packed sand surfaces. Runners will encounter a "fairly substantial" 81-foot elevation gain, primarily in the second mile, which is then balanced by a rewarding downhill stretch in the final mile, ideal for those chasing negative splits. While the course can be narrow, particularly at the start, two well-manned water stations, strategically placed around mile one and mile 1.7, ensure runners stay hydrated. All finishers are celebrated with a custom medal, and pre-registered participants receive their choice of a custom performance t-shirt or women's racerback tank top.
