Sunshine Festival July 4th 5K

The Sunshine Festival July 4th 5K and 1M offers a quintessential Independence Day running experience on beautiful Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Set for July 4, 2026, this historic and family-friendly event invites runners and walkers to explore USTAF certified routes through the island's iconic live oak and Spanish moss-lined streets. Starting and finishing at St. Simons Park/Kings Park, participants in both the 5K and 1 Mile races will enjoy a scenic road course.
