Half marathoners also start at Hyak, entering the iconic 2.4-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel early in their approximately 800-foot net downhill journey. Both distances feature this unique, cool, and dark tunnel experience (headlamps required!) before emerging to stunning views of the Cascade Mountains, picturesque railroad trestles, and cascading waterfalls.
