This uplifting event, held at Heckscher State Park - Field 1, is dedicated to honoring all "Super Moms," including daughters, sisters, grandmas, aunts, step-moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, and moms-to-be. Choose between the 3.1-mile 5K or the shorter 500M Fun Run for children 12 and under, making it a perfect outing for the whole family, with jogging strollers welcome on the course. Beyond the celebration, your participation supports meaningful causes, as the event aligns with Team Red, White, and Blue to assist wounded veterans and The Nest Egg, which aids local mothers and families in need. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for Island Harvest.

Runners can anticipate one of the flattest and most scenic courses on Long Island, offering a fantastic experience for all abilities, whether you're aiming for a personal best or enjoying a leisurely walk. Typical race day conditions in early May feature pleasant highs around 67°F and lows around 50°F, with only a 15% chance of precipitation. The 5K kicks off at 9:00 AM EDT, following the 8:30 AM EDT start of the Fun Run. Participants can look forward to guaranteed event t-shirts by registering early, and awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three in various age groups.
