T-Bred 5K and 1 Mile Trot

Lace up for the 3rd Annual T-Bred 5K and 1 Mile Trot, set to take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the charming city of Aiken, SC. This community-focused event offers both a chip-timed 5K and an electronically timed 1 Mile Trot, catering to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The races will commence from Virginia Acres Park (Odell Weeks Activity Center), serving as both the start and finish lines, with packet pickup and registration conveniently available on race day morning.

Runners in the 5K will navigate a USATF certified course, guiding them from the Virginia Acres walking track onto historic roads that wind through one of Aiken's picturesque equestrian areas, providing scenic views as you stride. The 1 Mile Trot will utilize the park's walking track, offering a pleasant and accessible route. Typical race day conditions in late February in Aiken bring comfortable highs around 67°F and lows around 41°F, with a low chance of precipitation, creating an ideal climate for a morning race. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.
