Lace up for a breathtaking journey through a vibrant wonderland at the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival 5K on April 25, 2026, in Lehi, UT. This highly anticipated 5K race, often selling out quickly, offers a unique opportunity to run, walk, or jog directly through the stunning Ashton Gardens during the peak of the renowned Tulip Festival. As one of Utah's most popular spring runs, participants are treated to an immersive, full-sensory experience, surrounded by over 900,000 blooming flowers, including 400,000 tulips imported from Holland, transforming the 50-acre gardens into a fragrant oasis of color and design.
The course promises a visually spectacular experience, starting and finishing at the Ashton Gardens Visitor Center. The first mile provides a flat and fast stretch on the road, allowing runners to find their stride before descending into the heart of the Ashton Gardens. Here, the route transitions to a narrow, curvy paver trail that winds through the diverse landscapes and dazzling floral displays. While offering more elevation change and "small short hills" than some might anticipate, making it more about the scenery than a personal record, the beauty of the surroundings is unparalleled. Around mile 2.7, the course ascends out of the gardens, bringing runners back to the main road for the finish. Typical race day conditions in late April offer pleasant weather, with highs around 63°F and lows around 38°F, and only a 13% chance of precipitation.
Runners can expect a well-supported event, featuring one aid station at mile 1.6 stocked with water and POWERADE, plus restrooms available for convenience. This "wheels-friendly" race welcomes strollers, making it a perfect outing for families. All participants will receive a themed race shirt and a commemorative finisher's medal, celebrating their accomplishment amidst the unparalleled springtime beauty of Thanksgiving Point. Packet pickup is held the day before the race at the Electric Park Gatehouse, with no race-day packet pickup available. Come and discover why the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival 5K has earned its reputation as a fan-favorite and the "freshest spring run" in Utah.
