The 2026 Sunbelt Bakery® 7 Family Fun Run

Lace up your running shoes for the 2026 Sunbelt Bakery® 7 Family Fun Run, set to take place on Sunday, March 8th, in Collegedale, TN. This engaging event offers both a challenging 7-mile run and a popular 5K distance, welcoming runners of all levels to hit the scenic greenways. Participants in the 7-mile and 5K runs will enjoy a picturesque course that winds through Collegedale's greenway, taking them past the beautiful Veterans Park, around a tranquil pond, and through tunnels, alongside a creek, and under bridges, all without the interruption of busy road crossings. For those preferring a more leisurely pace, a 5K walk is also available, looping through the pleasant sidewalks adjacent to Little Debbie Park.

The race headquarters, including the start and finish lines, are conveniently located at the 10+ acre Little Debbie Park and the Commons in Collegedale, offering ample free parking and public restrooms for participant comfort. Typical race day conditions in early March present agreeable temperatures, with highs around 62°F and lows around 41°F, and only a 19% chance of precipitation, providing an ideal climate for a spirited run or walk. Beyond the race itself, this family-friendly event creates lasting memories, complete with a Sunbelt Bakery costumed character for photo opportunities and a Kids' Dash for the youngest enthusiasts.

Every participant will receive a commemorative race shirt, a swag bag brimming with delicious Sunbelt Bakery snacks, and a finisher medal to celebrate their accomplishment. Top overall male and female finishers in each run will also earn a distinct ribbon. More than just a race, the Sunbelt Bakery® 7 Family Fun Run is a community-focused event with proceeds benefiting the Collegedale Veterans Memorial Park, supported by local veterans' organizations and the Ooltewah High School ROTC. With a cap of 450 total participants across all events, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot in this unique experience.
