The Camelback Run

Lace up for the 47th Annual Camelback Run, returning to Fremont, Ohio, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, for a day of exhilarating road racing and community spirit. Hosted by the Fremont Elite Runners Club, this cherished event is renowned as one of the area's finest road races, with its 10K distance previously holding the prestigious title of RRCA Ohio State 10K Championship.

Runners can choose their challenge from a diverse set of distances: a "challenging" 10K, a swift 5K, or participate in the family-friendly youth races, including a 2K for ages 12 and under, and a 0.25M Camel Calves run for the youngest participants aged 7 and under. The course, featuring the varied terrain around Fremont, promises an engaging experience for all levels, and with typical race day conditions seeing highs around 81F and lows around 60F, and a 16% chance of precipitation, it sets the stage for a memorable run.

Beyond the competition, The Camelback Run fosters a vibrant atmosphere, culminating in lively post-race festivities in downtown Fremont. Participants can look forward to chip-timed results for the 10K and 5K, guaranteed race shirts for pre-registered entrants, and awards for overall male and female finishers, masters, grand masters, and top age group contenders across the 10K and 5K races. Younger runners in the 2K will also receive awards for top male and female finishers, with finisher awards for all other kids' event participants, ensuring a rewarding experience for everyone.
