The Metropolitan 5k

More than just a race, The Metropolitan 5k is a tribute to Juneteenth, dedicated to promoting overall health and mental wellness, particularly within underserved communities. Organized by E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness and Cause of E.F.F.E.C.T, a 501(c)(3) organization, all proceeds directly support vital community initiatives like the Back 2 School Drive and Holiday Giveback for Atlanta Public School students. Runners will begin and end their journey at 1995B Metropolitan Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30315. Be sure to register early, as the first 2,000 participants receive a commemorative race day T-shirt and medal, with age group awards also presented. Carpooling is highly recommended, with parking available at Metro Lane Fun Center on a first-come, first-serve basis, as there is no parking at E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness on race day.
