The Toyota Super Half Marathon™& Game Day 5K™

Get ready for a Super Bowl Sunday tradition unlike any other at The Toyota Super Half Marathon™ & Game Day 5K™ on February 8, 2026, in scenic Colorado Springs, CO. This popular event draws over 1,500 runners to downtown Colorado Springs, offering both a challenging 13.1-mile Half Marathon and a festive 3.1-mile 5K. Known for its "Super Sunday Tradition," the race delivers a vibrant atmosphere, complete with an indoor packet pick-up at the Plaza of the Rockies and a lively post-race party at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub. This event proudly supports the Pikes Peak Road Runners, celebrating over 50 years of fostering running and healthy living in the region.

The course itself is designed for speed and enjoyment, featuring a mostly flat and fast out-and-back route through central Colorado Springs. Runners begin on Colorado Avenue, just west of Tejon Street, winding through downtown past the Antlers Hotel garage before connecting with the picturesque Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. The Half Marathon turnaround is just south of the I-25 overpass (around mile 6.8), while the 5K turnaround is south of Uintah Street. Expect a slight ascending grade on the way out, followed by a fast and downhill return as you race towards the finish line at America the Beautiful Park. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of Monument Creek, Colorado College, the University of Colorado, and several local parks.

Runners can rely on ample support throughout the race. Half Marathon participants will encounter four aid stations, each passed twice, and all aid stations are equipped with porta-potties. The 5K also features one aid station, hit twice, which includes a porta-potty and is renowned for being a "very rowdy 'Tailgate Party Aid Station'" where runners often linger. Typical race day conditions in early February for Colorado Springs include highs around 45°F and lows around 18°F, with a minimal 1% chance of precipitation, making for invigorating running weather. All finishers receive a commemorative race medal/bottle opener, Half Marathon finishers also get a pint glass, and participants have the option to add a long-sleeved tech shirt to their registration.
