Totally Awesome 80's Race 5k / 10k and 1 mile Fun Run

Get ready to rewind and run at the Totally Awesome 80's Race 5k / 10k and 1 mile Fun Run, set to electrify Ponte Vedra, FL, on Sunday, February 8, 2026! This sixth annual event invites runners and walkers of all levels to embrace their inner Material Girl or 80's Dude. Break out your brightest neon, headbands, and leg warmers for a race that's as much a party as it is a physical challenge. The 10K kicks off at 8:00 a.m. EST, followed by the 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:10 a.m. EST, all starting and finishing by the Water Park in Nocatee at 400 Nocatee Center Way.

Participants can choose between a chip-timed 6.2-mile (10K) or 3.1-mile (5K) course, or enjoy a relaxed 1-mile fun run/walk. Typical race day conditions in early February offer pleasant temperatures, with highs around 67°F and lows around 51°F, and only a 13% chance of precipitation, providing an ideal setting for a groovy race. Every participant in the 5K or 10K receives professional chip timing, an awesome 80s-themed race day shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, and a free downloadable finisher photo.

What truly makes this event unique is its vibrant atmosphere and a cause that gives back. Beyond the miles, join the optional Rubik's Cube Contest after the race for some extra nostalgic fun! Awards are presented to the fastest male and female overall, as well as top finishers across various age groups, from 13 and under to 70 and older. Teams are encouraged to join, with special awards for the fastest team of four and a registration discount for larger groups. Most importantly, proceeds from the Totally Awesome 80's Race benefit the Saint Francis House of Saint Augustine, supporting the St. Francis Housing Crisis Center and Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center.
