Totally Awesome 80's Run

Get ready to rewind to the raddest decade as the Totally Awesome 80's Run makes its debut in Prince Frederick, MD, on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This vibrant event, based out of Mully's Brewery at 141 Schooner Lane, offers both a chip-timed 5K and a 1-mile walk, inviting runners and walkers of all paces to embrace their inner Material Girl or 80's Dude. Participants can expect a fantastic course featuring amazing views along lightly traveled country roads and neighborhoods, offering a refreshing and scenic experience. Typical race day conditions in late September in Prince Frederick are pleasant, with highs around 73°F and lows around 55°F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for a memorable run.

What truly sets this race apart is its immersive 80s atmosphere. Kicking off at 10:00 AM for the 5K and 10:05 AM for the 1-mile walk, the event guarantees a blast from the past from start to finish. A live DJ will be spinning the best 80's tunes pre-race, during the event, and at the totally tubular after-party held at Mully's Brewery. Runners are encouraged to don their brightest retro gear for the Best Dressed Competition, and 80's trivia will keep the fun going. All participants will receive a stylish 80's themed tee and a commemorative pint glass, plus a complimentary craft beer for those 21 and over (root beer for those under 21). Aid stations will be available on the course and at the finish line, providing water to keep participants hydrated. Awards will be presented to the top male and female overall finishers, as well as age group winners.

Packet pickup opens at 8:30 AM on race day at Mully's Brewery, giving you ample time to get ready to run and party like it's 1985.
