TRENTON FISH AND GAME CLUB AUTISM AWARENESS RUN/WALK

Lace up for a cause at the Trenton Fish and Game Club Autism Awareness Run/Walk, set to take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in scenic Holland Patent, NY. This event offers participants a choice between a challenging 5-mile trail run or walk and a fun 1K Kids Run, all while supporting vital autism awareness initiatives. The course itself is a non-technical trail loop, winding twice through 2.5 miles of picturesque pines and open hardwoods within the Trenton Fish and Game Club grounds, nestled in the Adirondack foothills. The trails are clearly marked with white signs, black arrows, and pink ribbons to guide you, and aid stations are strategically placed at miles 1.25, 2.5, and 3.75, providing water to keep you hydrated.

This "low-key" race is uniquely designed to maximize its impact, with all proceeds benefiting Kelberman for autism awareness, alongside donations to the Trenton Fish and Game Club and the Utica Road Runners for their support. In a special touch, the overall male and female race winners will have a donation made to their charity of choice. Participants can look forward to typical race day conditions with highs around 82°F and lows around 61°F, and a 16% chance of precipitation, making for potentially pleasant summer running. Adding to the appeal, the first 100 participants will receive quality USA-made Drymax socks.

The day kicks off with a free Kids Fun Run at 8:30 am, followed by the main 5-mile race and walk at 9:00 am. Both start and finish at the Trenton Fish and Game Club, located at 8001 Wood Rd, Holland Patent, NY. Packet pickup is available on race morning starting at 7:30 am at the club, or the day prior at The Sneaker Store in New Hartford.
