Triple Dog Dare

Dare to push your limits at the Triple Dog Dare, an exhilarating race hitting Irving, TX, on August 1, 2026! Embracing its playful name, this event challenges runners and walkers of all levels across a range of distances, including a 5K, 10K, and 15K, alongside a new 1 Mile option and a spirited Kid's Dash. Set within the scenic Sam Houston Trail Park, runners can anticipate a picturesque course as they pursue their personal best.

Participants in the 5K, 10K, and 15K races will vie for custom finisher medals and age group awards, recognizing the top four finishers in various divisions. All registered runners for the 5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile events will also receive an event-themed participation t-shirt, with a registration deadline of July 18th to guarantee shirt size. Typical race day conditions in early August bring highs around 99°F and lows around 79°F, with a low chance of precipitation. The race kicks off early to beat the heat, with the Kid's Dash at 6:50 AM CDT, the 15K at 7:00 AM CDT, the 10K at 7:05 AM CDT, and the 5K and 1 Mile starting at 7:15 AM CDT. Beyond the personal challenge, the Triple Dog Dare is organized by Run Different, an organization committed to giving back, with a portion of profits and donations supporting various charities.
