With typical race day conditions boasting highs around 69°F and lows around 40°F, and only a 12% chance of precipitation, the weather is often ideal for a fast and enjoyable experience.

The True to the Brew Trail 10K offers a unique blend of trail running accessibility and speed. While technically a trail event, the course primarily utilizes the flat, wide remnants of an old railroad bed, making it non-technical and suitable for all levels. Runners will journey along the historic Palmetto Trail, crossing 13 impressive trestles, with only a brief underpass providing any significant incline. This route offers a consistently scenic journey, culminating at the breathtaking Broad River trestle, which serves as an epic finish line. Several well-placed water/aid stations along the route ensure runners stay hydrated and energized.

What truly sets the True to the Brew apart is its lively atmosphere and legendary finish line celebration. Starting behind Wilson's Grocery in Pomaria, participants are greeted at the Broad River trestle finish with live music, professional photography, a fresh-off-the-grill breakfast, and, of course, a complimentary craft beer to celebrate their accomplishment. Even packet pickup at Craft & Draft includes a free beer with your bib, setting the tone for a fun-filled weekend.
