Step into the festive spirit of summer with the annual Twelve Days of Christmas (in July) Races, kicking off around late June and continuing throughout July 2026. This unique series offers runners a truly diverse experience, with distances ranging from a quick 1 Mile to a challenging 12K, alongside 2K, 3K, 3.22K, 4K, 4.44K, 5K, 6K, 7K, 8K, and 10K options. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply want to enjoy the summer run, there's a distance for every goal.
What makes this event truly stand out is its innovative format. While many races are "on your own," allowing you to complete your chosen distance at a time and place that suits you, several in-person events are also featured. Select races, including the 1 Mile, 2K, 3.22K, and 4K, take place at the Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton, Georgia, while the concluding 12K is held at the Laurens County 4-H Office in Dublin, Georgia. This long-standing tradition, now in its 12th year, is more than just a race; it's part of the Clover Glove, Black Bag, and Run & See Georgia Races series, offering points and supporting Georgia 4-H. Participants can vie for overall, Master, Grand Master, Senior Grand Master, and Youth awards, recognizing the lowest cumulative times for those tackling all twelve distances.
Prepare for typical race day conditions in Georgia, with historical highs around 92F and lows near 69F, alongside a 15% chance of precipitation. Pre-registered runners participating in three or more races will receive a special edition T-shirt, and family rates are available, making this a fantastic summer running celebration for everyone.
