The terrain is a dynamic mix of wooded single-track, mossy hardwoods, rocky ridge sections, and open mountain corridors, featuring varied surfaces including paved, gravel, dirt, and rocky paths, with elevation gains up to 1,200 feet per loop. As you ascend, you'll be treated to stunning views of the valley and ski slopes, making every climb rewarding.

UltraTrax Bear Creek is celebrated for its supportive community and the unique flexibility it offers: participants can choose to tackle the course unweighted or opt for an added challenge by carrying a 10, 20, or 35-pound pack, earning extra finisher swag. While a timed event, the focus is on personal endurance rather than a traditional race, welcoming all levels of walkers, hikers, and ruckers.
