US 5K, and 10K

Prepare for an invigorating challenge at the Eagle 5K, & 10K, set to take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the charming Midlothian, VA. Hosted by US Road Running, this event offers both 5K and 10K distances, inviting runners of all levels to hit the pavement. The scenic out-and-back course, starting bright and early at 8:00 AM near Headstock next to the beautiful Loch Lothian in Midlothian Mines Park, provides a picturesque backdrop for your run. Expect typical race day conditions in July to feature highs around 90°F and lows around 68°F, with a 14% chance of precipitation, so plan accordingly to stay hydrated and comfortable.

The course is designed for those who enjoy a looped challenge; 5K participants will complete two loops of the route, while 10K runners will tackle four. A generous two-hour time limit ensures that participants can complete their chosen distance at a comfortable pace. All finishers will be celebrated with a thematic medal to commemorate their achievement.
