Victory for Life 5K

Lace up for the inspiring Victory for Life 5K, taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in beautiful El Paso, Texas. This poignant event, also offering a 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run, serves as a vibrant community gathering dedicated to Sarcoma (DSRCT) Awareness and honors the enduring legacy of Victor, a courageous warrior. Participants are encouraged to wear yellow to show their support, with all proceeds benefiting the vital work of the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation.

The race kicks off at 8:00 AM MST from Album Park, offering a generally flat course within the scenic park, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for all abilities. Runners can anticipate favorable conditions, with typical race day highs around 68°F and lows around 42°F, accompanied by a mere 1% chance of precipitation, providing an ideal climate for personal bests or a comfortable stroll.

Beyond the personal challenge, the Victory for Life 5K celebrates achievement with trophies awarded to the overall male and female 5K winners, and medals for the top three finishers in various age categories. The first 200 entrants will also receive a special race shirt, adding a memorable keepsake to their experience.
