Runners will navigate a paved, out-and-back course along the scenic North Creek Trail, beginning and ending near McCollum Park. The route provides a refreshing escape into nature, winding through an almost level forest loop alongside a creek, offering glimpses of large trees and ferns. The 5K involves two loops of a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment, the 10K completes four loops, and half marathoners will tackle six loops of a 1.09-mile out-and-back course.
As you push towards the finish line, anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 47°F and lows near 36°F, accompanied by a modest 13% chance of precipitation – ideal for a crisp winter run. Every finisher is celebrated with a unique themed medal, and top performers across male and female categories, as well as age groups, will earn awards.
