Runners will navigate an engaging out-and-back course designed to showcase the beauty of the area. The 5K course involves two loops of a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment, while the 10K covers this section four times. Those tackling the Half Marathon will complete six loops of a longer 1.09-mile out-and-back route. All participants receive a finisher medal to commemorate their achievement, with awards presented to the top three in each age group. Don't forget to get creative, as there's also a prize for the best costume! Typical race day conditions in early February bring comfortable highs around 60F and lows near 38F, with a low chance of precipitation, providing ideal running weather.
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the 8:00 AM race start, concluding 10 minutes prior, so early arrival is recommended, especially given that parking is limited. Be sure to register online in advance, as on-site registration will not be available. A generous course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes allows participants to enjoy the camaraderie and competition at their own pace.
