Viking 5K, 10K, and13.1M

Prepare to conquer the scenic asphalt paths of Little Rock, Arkansas, at the Viking 5K, 10K, and 13.1M races on February 14, 2026. Kicking off bright and early at 8:00 AM from Two Rivers Park (6900 Two Rivers Park Road, Little Rock, AR 72223), this event offers a welcoming atmosphere for runners of all levels. The courses are entirely on asphalt, featuring an out-and-back design. The 5K runners complete one 3.11-mile out-and-back, 10K participants tackle it twice, and half marathoners take on four loops of a 3.28-mile out-and-back route. Bathrooms are conveniently located by the playground near the starting line.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions in mid-February, with highs around 54F and lows near 33F, and only a 14% chance of precipitation, making for potentially crisp and invigorating running weather. All finishers will be rewarded with a commemorative medal, and those with a flair for the dramatic are encouraged to embrace the Viking spirit for a chance to win the "Best Costume" award. Packet pickup is efficient, starting 30 minutes before the race and closing 10 minutes prior to the 8:00 AM gun time.
