Viking 5K & 10K at Panama City, FL (06)

Get ready to channel your inner Viking at the spirited Viking 5K & 10K in beautiful Panama City, Florida, on Saturday, February 7, 2026. This energetic event, part of the US Road Running Race Series, invites runners of all abilities to embrace the challenge amidst the scenic surroundings of the Callaway Recreational Complex. With typical race day conditions boasting comfortable highs around 65F and lows near 44F, and only a 15% chance of precipitation, it's an ideal setting for a fantastic race experience.

The race features a scenic out-and-back course at 500 Callaway Parkway. Participants will navigate a unique looped format, with the 5K distance completing two loops of a 0.78-mile course, and the 10K distance taking on four loops. Both races are designed to be completed within a generous two-hour time limit, making it accessible for a wide range of runners.

All finishers will be celebrated with a themed medal to commemorate their achievement. Adding to the festive atmosphere, runners are encouraged to showcase their creativity and compete for the "Best Costume" award. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the 8:30 AM start time, but be sure to register in advance online, as on-site registration is not available.
