Wild Child Fun Run

Lace up your sneakers for the Wild Child Fun Run, a unique and heartwarming event taking place on June 6, 2026, in scenic Idaho Falls, ID. This family-friendly adventure offers participants the choice of a 1.5-mile or 3.1-mile (5K) distance, both winding through the beautiful Tautphaus Park before culminating in an unforgettable quarter-mile course directly inside the Idaho Falls Zoo! With typical race day conditions seeing highs around 74°F and lows around 44°F, and only a 7% chance of precipitation, it's set to be a comfortable day for a run.

More than just a race, the Wild Child Fun Run is a celebration of fitness and fun, welcoming all ages and abilities. The course through Tautphaus Park and the zoo promises engaging cheer stations, fantastic photo opportunities, upbeat music, and plenty of snacks to keep you energized. While a finish time is provided, the emphasis is firmly on enjoyment and promoting health. Every participant will receive one of five unique animal-themed Wild Child T-shirts, a plush stuffed tiger finisher award, and free admission to the zoo for the day, along with access to a vibrant post-run celebration featuring more music and games.
