Runners embarking on the 7.45-mile adventure will discover a course that is 95% trail, leading east from the park into dense woods. This scenic and demanding route features steep ascents and descents, as well as refreshing creek and bridge crossings, with ample opportunities to spot local wildlife like deer. The 5K meanders along a rustic trail, circling Clear Pond, descending into Spooky Hollow, and climbing a set of steps. Aid stations stocked with liquid hydration will be available at approximately 2 and 4 miles on the longer course.
