Women's Distance Festival

It is a proud component of the long-standing Maryland RRCA Women's Distance Festival Series, which has championed women's participation in running since 1979.

Runners will tackle a 3.1-mile road course, commencing and concluding at Howard Community College, conveniently located near the intersection of Campus Drive and Hickory Ridge Road. Typical race day conditions in mid-May present comfortable highs around 76°F and lows near 54°F, with a modest 18% chance of precipitation, offering pleasant running weather. This festival distinguishes itself with special awards for mother/daughter teams, fostering camaraderie and shared accomplishment. All finishers are celebrated with a custom cooler, a perfect reward as summer approaches.
