Prepare for an unforgettable journey through Washington's scenic landscapes at the inaugural Woodinville Half on March 8, 2026. This unique 13.1-mile point-to-point race kicks off in Kirkland, WA, at Marina Park, treating runners to stunning views of Lake Washington before winding along Lake Washington Boulevard. Participants will then join the picturesque Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail, continuing through charming neighborhoods, past Totem Lake, and ultimately merging onto the beautiful Sammamish River Trail, culminating at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville.

The Woodinville Half offers a course designed for both speed and enjoyment. Expect a mostly flat profile, with the sole significant climb appearing around mile 2. Runners will appreciate a rewarding downhill stretch between miles 8 and 10, perfect for gaining momentum towards the finish line. Along the route, aid stations are strategically placed approximately every 2.5 miles, fully stocked with water, Gatorade electrolyte drink, and energy gels, all served in compostable cups. As an inaugural event, this race promises a fresh experience, complete with a commemorative finisher medal, hot cider, and Pop-Tarts at the finish, with the first 1000 registrants also receiving a custom full-zip hooded sweatshirt.

Typical race day conditions in early March present cool, invigorating weather, with historical highs around 53°F and lows around 38°F, and only an 18% chance of precipitation. This makes for ideal running temperatures to tackle the half marathon distance. An optional pre-race shuttle service from the finish to the start is also available, ensuring a seamless race day experience.
