Yellowstone Independence Day 5K

This festive 5K run/walk, kicking off at 8:00 AM MDT, starts and finishes at the historic Sacajawea Park, nestled gracefully beside the Yellowstone River. It's the 3rd annual iteration of this community-loved event, organized by the Yellowstone Running Club, with all proceeds directly supporting their mission to promote wellness through running and walking, and to help local youth cross country athletes attend regional championships.

Typical race day conditions in early July bring highs around 85°F and lows around 49°F, with only a 6% chance of precipitation, providing ideal weather for a spirited morning run.
