12hr Frenzy @ the Fairgrounds

Prepare for an extraordinary overnight endurance test at the 12hr Frenzy @ the Fairgrounds, set to illuminate the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport, MS, from the evening of February 6th to the morning of February 7th, 2026. This unique "Dusk-til-Dawn" event challenges runners to complete a 2-kilometer (1.24 mile) trail circuit every hour, on the hour, for 12 consecutive hours, accumulating a total of 24 kilometers. As darkness descends, headlamps become essential for navigating the trail under the starry Mississippi sky, offering a truly distinctive running experience.

Beyond the personal challenge, the 12hr Frenzy serves as a spirited fundraiser, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Coastal MS Wildcats Track & Field Program, supporting youth athletics in the community. Participants can embrace the communal "Basecamp Vibes" by bringing tents or camp chairs for rest and recovery between hourly loops, with fire pits provided to keep warm during the night. While runners are encouraged to bring their own food and water, the atmosphere fosters camaraderie and support throughout the demanding night. Finishers who conquer all 12 laps will earn a custom dog tag to commemorate their achievement.
