OCWC Charity 5K and Fun Run

The event kicks off from The Green Room Sicilian Cafe and Deli, with the 5K course winding through the picturesque east side of Osprey Cove. Runners and walkers can anticipate scenic views along the route before finishing back at The Green Room. Immediately following the 5K, the 1-mile loop provides a fantastic opportunity for families and casual participants to enjoy a stroll down Fairways Edge, also within Osprey Cove. Typical race day conditions in early February offer pleasant running weather, with highs around 64°F and lows around 44°F, and only an 11% chance of precipitation.

More than just a race, the OCWC Charity 5K and Fun Run is a festive occasion designed for "super family fun," where participants are encouraged to don their favorite football team jerseys. The event proudly supports three vital local charities: Project K9 Services, Mothers of Veteran Suicide, and The Methodist Home for Children and Youth.
